At Ink Factory, we’re in the business of making events pop with creativity while also breaking down complex information into a format that is easy to understand and remember. Our collaboration with Telarus for their annual 3-day Partner Summit was nothing short of a visual extravaganza!
The Challenge: Breaking Down the Tech Talk
As a leading global technology solutions brokerage, Telarus is no stranger to the world of tech with their comprehensive services, solutions, and tools which they provide to their extensive partner community. Being a thought leader in the tech world comes with challenges – breaking down complex concepts in a way that partners and customers can understand while providing an engaging and interactive experience is a top priority.
The Event: Three Days of Tech
The Telarus Partner Summit spanned three days and featured keynote speakers, VIP receptions, group dinners, activities, and educational sessions taught by industry professionals that have insight to advanced solutions and cutting-edge products. The goal of this event is to create an intentional space where partners and suppliers are able to network and learn together.
When Creative Director Breanna Lorenzen set out on a mission to ensure that event attendees had an educational and interactive experience, she knew that she wanted something interactive and exciting, yet productive – the vast and complex information provided at the event needed to stick.
When a coworker showed Lorenzen a TikTok video of Ink Factory’s visual notes, she knew this was just the engagement she was looking for to make the Telarus Partner Summit pop.
Ink Factory’s Magic Touch
Telarus wanted their event to be more than just talking heads and slide decks. So, they brought in Ink Factory to create visual notes and interactive engagement boards, and boy, did they steal the show! Lorenzen said attendees found the visual notes exciting, interactive, and incredibly helpful in understanding complex tech concepts.

A Gift That Keeps on Giving
The icing on the cake? A spectacular recap book containing all of the visual notes, a keepsake that attendees received post-Summit. It’s not just a souvenir; it’s an educational masterpiece!
Telarus also added the visual notes to their online Telarus University to be viewed and downloaded so partners can keep the learning going and share with clients. Talk about getting more bang for your buck.
When asked if Telarus would have done anything differently, Lorenzen said the only regret was not having an Ink Factory artist at the front of each education session room, but they are taking notes (pun intended) for next year.

There’s no doubt that complex language and concepts can be a real pain point when educating partners and clients – comprehensive visual notes were able to help Telarus break this information down in a way that attendees found exciting and interactive.
